Set in a beautiful 3 1/4 acre wooded lot in Geauga County, Little Dog Lodge is an "in-home" boarding facility for your small dogs at Kitty Kamp and Little Dog Lodge. Only dogs up to 20 lbs. are taken in — there are no large intimidating dogs here!
You'll be glad to know that your dog will enjoy more personalized care due to the limited number of dogs boarded at one time. This low intake number allows us to give your four-legged friend personal attention during their stay.
Your dog can run, play, and socialize with other dogs in our spacious fenced-in outdoor play area. You can also bring in your dog for daycare.
Dogs have plenty of time every day to enjoy fresh air and sunshine. Meanwhile, the beautiful sunroom, with its skylights and tall spacious windows, is a perfect place for indoor play and rest time.
Dogs sleep in their own hand-crafted dog houses with comfy fleece lining and cozy beds. We have nature videos to watch and soft music too. Each night ends with a doggie treat before bed. Call now to set up a meet and greet with your dog.
Boarding charges are $25.00 a night per dog. Starting June 3rd 2024, there will be a rate increase to $30.00 per night. Daycare fee is $25.00/day. You must pick your dog up by 10:30 am Monday through Saturday or you will be charged an additional day. There will always be a charge for Sunday pickups. Daily nature walks on beautiful wooded trails provided for a minimal fee.
Little Things to Remember When Bringing Your Pampered Pooch
Please remember to bring your dog's food along when checking in. We will gladly follow your feeding guidelines so your dog will stay on its own feeding schedule. For boarding, updated vaccinations are a must (rabies, distemper, and Bordetella). Starting a flea regimen before the board is recommended.
Please call ahead to arrange a meet-and-greet before you make your reservations. Drop-offs and pick-ups are by appointment only.
Payment due at drop-off for reserved days. No reimbursement for early pick-ups on reserved days. We accept check or cash only. Please make your check payable to Julie Balazs.
